Mental Awareness Color Codes: It's a State of Mind

Once again, the United States experienced new terror attacks this past weekend. These terror attacks are not over by any measure. There will be more. This is an absolute certainty. If not already, your head should be on a swivel. 24/7. You have no excuse.

You may not have been a victim this time but, remember, it can happen to anyone, at any time, in any place, anymore. The battlefield is EVERYWHERE. Be aware.

Awareness is a state of mind that relates to the degree of peril you are willing to do something about. An awareness mindset allows you to move from one level of mindset to another to enable you to properly handle a given situation you find yourself in.

Use this Mental Awareness Color Code chart to place yourself in the right state of mind given your surroundings at any one time. At a bare minimum, you should always be in Condition Yellow - Relaxed alert. Condition Orange, representing a Specific alert, can be a mental strain, so stay in it only as long as needed. If the threat proves to be nothing, shift back to Condition Yellow.
